The successful candidate will be responsible for the annual group and subsidiary level budgeting process, producing business level and consolidated variance analysis, performance reporting, line of business and product profitability reporting and investment analysis.

You will be a qualified accountant, preferably management accountant, with significant experience of the above. Experience within the financial services is preferred.  Experience using Oracle is preferred.     

Our client is a new regional start up bank focusing on corporate banking and retail who is looking for a talented SME Unit Head. You will have eight to ten years experience in corporate banking, of which six years will be in a relationship management position in a local bank. You will have experience running a team of relationship managers and credit analysts. Responsible for the performance of the unit, including achieving targets, monitoring staff performances and reviewing credit proposals, the successful candidate will have a proven track record as a team leader.

In addition to the above you will co-ordinate with the head of business banking for business and product development as well as monitoring the compliance, audit, anti monitory laundering and central bank regulations for the unit.

It is essential that you have a strong academic record and GCC banking experience, Arabic speaking candidates are preferable. Doha / Qatar.
